Job description

ACE Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Intensive Home-Based Therapy (IHBT) Therapist to join our team. The IHBT Therapist will work with children, adolescents, and their families, providing mental health services in their home environment. The primary focus will be on helping families stabilize crises, strengthen family relationships, and improve overall mental health functioning through intensive therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-home, community-based therapy sessions with children, adolescents, and their families to address mental health, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client and their family.
  • Provide crisis intervention, stabilization services, and skill-building activities.
  • Collaborate with case managers, schools, and other community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Monitor and document client progress through regular reports, ensuring compliance with clinical and agency standards.
  • Attend and participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and other multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide psychoeducation to family members and caregivers, enhancing their ability to support the client's therapeutic goals.
  • Be available for on-call crisis support as needed.
  • Attend regular supervision and training to maintain best practices and continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Masterโ€™s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited program.
  • Valid licensure in the state of Ohio such as LSW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to conduct home visits are required.
Working Conditions:
