You will collaborate closely with project teams, trade partners, design teams, and clients to ensure systems are designed, coordinated, and installed to the highest standards of quality, performance, and efficiency. Apply now to be considered within 24 hours! Client Details Our client is one of the nation's most respected and innovative construction firms, consistently ranked among the Top 10 ENR General Contractors. With a portfolio that includes some of the most complex, high-profile, and award-winning projects in the country, they have built a reputation for delivering excellence across healthcare, commercial, aviation, higher education, life sciences, mission-critical, and advanced technology markets. Backed by a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, this industry leader is shaping the future of construction through cutting-edge technology, collaborative delivery methods, and a relentless commitment to quality. Their teams are entrusted with projects that not only redefine skylines but also make a lasting impact on communities nationwide. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious MEP Manager to join a world-class organization known for investing in its people and promoting long-term career growth. You'll have the opportunity to lead complex building systems on landmark projects, work alongside some of the industry's top construction professionals, and gain exposure to technically challenging work at a scale few contractors can offer. Beyond the projects, the company is recognized for its strong culture centered on safety, employee development, innovation, and sustainability. Team members are given the resources, mentorship, and autonomy needed to excel while enjoying the stability, reputation, and advancement opportunities that come with one of the most sought-after builders in the industry. If you're looking to make an impact on nationally significant projects while accelerating your career with a premier construction organization, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss. Description The MEP Manager will be responsible for: Oversee procurement of major MEPF equipment, ensuring alignment with project specifications, lead times, and budget targets. Coordinate closely with general trades and superintendent teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems in the field. Track and manage MEPF-related RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to maintain schedule and design integrity. Review subcontractor scopes to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with project requirements. Maintain strong communication with the project owner and stakeholders regarding system performance, design intent, and commissioning expectations. Monitor cost exposure for MEPF components, identifying risk items early and collaborating on mitigation strategies. Lead weekly MEP coordination meetings and document action items, decisions, and responsibilities. Support the startup and turnover process by coordinating training, O&M documentation, and post‑occupancy support for all MEPF systems. Ensure that MEP sequencing, shutdowns, testing, and energization activities are planned safely and executed without impacting critical project milestones. Develop and maintain QA/QC procedures specific to MEPF installations, ensuring workmanship meets project standards. Collaborate with commissioning agents to verify system readiness, functionality, and performance metrics. Utilize project management software, BIM tools, and reporting platforms to track progress and communicate updates effectively. Identify opportunities for system innovation or improvement, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices in data center MEP design. Ensure that all MEP subcontractors comply with site safety protocols, environmental requirements, and company policies. Profile The successful MEP MAnager will have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience managing MEP scopes on large-scale commercial construction projects. Demonstrated ability to manage complex MEPF systems on mission‑critical or high‑density projects such as data centers, healthcare facilities, laboratories, or large tech builds. Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems, including integration across disciplines. Proven experience leading BIM‑driven coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, one‑line diagrams, sequence of operations, and commissioning scripts. Strong financial acumen, with experience tracking MEP budgets, forecasting cost exposure, and evaluating change orders. Excellent stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with owners, design teams, trade partners, and internal project teams. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple system packages, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast‑paced construction environment. Deep understanding of commissioning processes, testing requirements, and turnover documentation for mission‑critical systems. Strong organizational skills with a detail‑oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in submittals, logs, RFIs, and field documentation. Experience conducting technical presentations, leading coordination meetings, and communicating complex MEP concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Ability to proactively identify constructability issues, design conflicts, and installation challenges before they impact schedule. Familiarity with energy‑efficient design strategies, sustainability practices, and modern building technologies. Ability to mentor junior engineers or project staff, contributing to team development and departmental growth. Job Offer The MEP Manager will be offered: Significant long-term growth potential, backed by a strong project pipeline in mission-critical construction. Direct collaboration with executive leadership, providing visibility, influence, and strategic involvement in major company initiatives. Access to cutting‑edge tools, technology, and BIM/VDC resources to support efficient project delivery. Robust professional development support, including paid training, certifications, and continuing education opportunities. Strong company stability with an excellent reputation in large‑scale and mission‑critical construction sectors. Opportunities to lead complex MEPF installations on some of the most technically challenging projects in the industry. Supportive, team‑oriented environment where innovation and proactive problem‑solving are encouraged. Paid time off, company holidays, and additional wellness benefits supporting healthy work-life balance. Recognition programs and performance incentives that reward excellence and leadership. Employee‑focused culture that prioritizes safety, professional respect, and long-term retention. Participation in company-sponsored events, team outings, and community involvement initiatives. Stable Monday-Friday schedule with limited after-hours demands due to well‑structured project staffing.
