Hospitality Gift Shop Attendant – Job DescriptionPosition Summary

The Hospitality Gift Shop Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store appearance, and assisting guests with purchases in a gift shop setting. This role supports overall guest satisfaction by creating a friendly and efficient shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and offer assistance with product selection
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, credit, etc.)
  • Maintain knowledge of store merchandise, including pricing and promotions
  • Restock shelves and ensure displays are neat, organized, and visually appealing
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items
  • Answer guest questions about products and local attractions
  • Handle returns and exchanges according to store policy
  • Keep the shop clean, including counters, floors, and display areas
  • Follow loss prevention and security procedures

Qualifications
