Multiple Openings Hiring Immediately!We're growing and have multiple Building Engineer openings available in Columbus, OH. If you're a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical and HVAC experience, this is your opportunity to join a stable team supporting industrial and commercial facilities. We're looking for technicians who enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, solving problems, and keeping critical operations running safely and efficiently.
What You'll DoOperate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial building systems and equipment
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors, motors, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical issues
Monitor and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS) and building controls
Complete daily equipment inspections, operational checks, and equipment rounds
Maintain generators, fire and life safety systems, and other critical infrastructure
Perform lighting, plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, and general building maintenance repairs
Utilize CMMS software to document work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment history
Coordinate with vendors and contractors during repairs and maintenance projects
Respond to equipment failures and emergency maintenance situations while maintaining a safe work environment
4+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems and commercial/industrial HVAC
Experience with boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors, motors, and mechanical equipment
Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS software
Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics
Universal EPA Certification preferred
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
