Job description

Regional Vice President – Ohio

Reports To: Senior Vice President of Operations

Location: Ohio (travel required throughout the assigned territory)

Status: Exempt, Full-Time

Position Summary

The Regional Vice President is a newly created leadership role responsible for leading and unifying operations across Ohio into a single, high-performing regional business. This executive will have full P&L accountability for approximately $20 million in annual revenue and will be responsible for operational execution, client retention and growth, workforce leadership, and financial performance across the region.

The Regional Vice President will serve as the senior operating leader for the region, partnering with executive leadership to drive operational excellence, organizational alignment, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

P&L and Financial Management

  • Own full profit-and-loss responsibility for the region, including revenue, gross margin, labor costs, and operating expenses.
  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget while monitoring financial performance against forecast.
  • Review financial performance with regional leadership and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Partner with Finance on pricing, contract profitability, and renewal strategies.

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and support Regional Directors, Operations Managers, Area Managers, and site leadership throughout Ohio.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all client locations.
  • Drive operational consistency through standardized processes, reporting, scheduling, inspections, and workforce management.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, labor compliance, and operational performance across a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Resolve significant client, labor, and operational issues while partnering with executive leadership as needed.

Organizational Leadership

  • Lead organizational integration initiatives while creating a unified operating structure.
  • Standardize operational processes, reporting, staffing models, and account management practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
  • Build leadership capability through coaching, development, succession planning, and clear performance expectations.
  • Foster an accountable, relationship-driven culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Client & Business Growth

  • Maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and serve as the senior point of escalation.
  • Drive client retention and identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts.
  • Partner with Business Development on proposals, pricing strategy, client transitions, and expansion opportunities.
  • Represent the organization throughout the region while supporting continued business growth.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience within facilities services, janitorial services, or another multi-site service organization.
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility for operations exceeding $15 million in annual revenue.
  • Experience leading large, geographically dispersed hourly workforces across multiple locations.
  • Experience with organizational integration, consolidation, or acquisitions is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of client retention and organic account growth.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build alignment across multiple teams and operating groups.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ohio.
