How you'll make an impact
  • Review Client/Prospect core offerings with Internal Sales and Client Service Staff alongside the Voluntary Benefits (VB) Specialist to determine potential benefit gaps and identify Voluntary Benefits to fill those gaps
  • Determine Clients/Prospects marketing, education, enrollment and technology desires with Internal Teams alongside the VB Specialist
  • Create comprehensive, customized Request for Proposals (RFPs) for each Client/Prospect that are sent to insurance providers
  • Conduct insurance provider due diligence and negotiations on behalf of the Clients/Prospects
  • Prepare a market scan analysis upon receiving insurance provider proposals and responses and assist with a side-by-side product comparison and/or presentation as requested
  • Help guide the internal Client Service Staff on next steps for implementation once benefit and service providers have been finalized and enrollment decisions have been made
  • Maintain open and clear communications with Internal Teams and VB Specialist
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Internal Sales and Client Services Staff, providing high level support and expertise for Voluntary Benefit Clients and Prospects
  • Provide guidance and support to Client Service team as needed for ongoing Client questions, service or claims issues that require escalation or additional support throughout the year
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes related to Client and Prospect support
  • Provide support on special projects and/or deliverables, idea development, simplifying internal processes, etc., as assigned
  • Alongside the VB Specialist, assist in analyzing enrollment data, review and report enrollment results and communicate such results to the Internal Teams
  • Help Identify current/future opportunities for plan improvement, additional products and service offerings alongside VB Specialist
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience, OR High School degree with 8 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience.
  • License required.
