Marysville associates have paid holidays, vacation and sick accruals, and bereavement leave.We are hiring 5 Full Time Rail Loaders for our Marysville location. This position will be primarily days Monday - Saturday 6a to when the loads are done (usually 8-10 hours). This is very physical work and this is 100% outdoors in all weather. For quick consideration- apply today!Summary of PositionThis position prepares railcars for loading, drives vehicles onto proper railcars, secures vehicles to railcars according to manufacturer and American Association of Railroad standards, and prepares railcars for transportation at the Marysville Honda facility. Essential Functions, Duties and TasksDrive vehicles onto rail carsSecure vehicles on the rail cars using chocks or chainsAble to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assignedInspect vehicles for damageReport damage to lead, supervisor, or managerTrain new employees and temporary workersMaintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with other customers, vendors, co-workers, and managementAble to react to change productivelyAny duties as assignedGood and regular attendanceAbility to work in a variety of situations Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to adhere to strict quality standards without varianceAbility to read and interpret SDS manualsHave knowledge of hand tools (i.e., wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, etc.) Education, Experience, and Minimum RequirementsMust be able to read, write and communicate in EnglishMust have a high school diploma or equivalentMust have and maintain a valid State Driver's licenseMust have a good sense of balance and have the ability to maintain 3 points of contactAbility to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehiclesAbility to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme weather conditionsAbility to pass the AWC Safe Driving and Rail Safety tests with a 80% or higher accuracyMust be able to working in tight spaces when loading vehiclesMust be able to work at heights approximately 15 feet above the ground Preferred Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentMust have and maintain a valid State Driver's licenseMaintain a good driving recordAbility to drive both manual automatic transmission vehiclesAbility to work at a height approximately 15 feet above the groundAbility to stand, walk, and work outdoors in all weather conditions Auto Warehousing Company, including its subsidiaries, is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status or disability (in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act) with respect to employment opportunities
