Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in tutor subject area. Previous experience in higher education required.
Must possess exceptional communication skills, demonstrate model behavior, and foster/maintain safe environment of respect and inclusion for students, staff, faculty, and other members of the community.
Teaching experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Summary of Duties:
Provide academic tutoring to assigned students in person or virtually to support their success in enrolled courses. Assist students in developing course-related knowledge, study strategies, and problem-solving skills while fostering an encouraging and professional learning environment.
Tutors may be assigned to any of the Student Success Center locations, including the Newark, Coshocton, Pataskala, or Mount Vernon campuses.
