Job description

Gillmann Services is looking for an experienced Underground Storage Tank (UST) Installer to join our growing team. If you have experience with petroleum equipment, underground tanks, electrical work, or commercial fueling systems, we'd like to talk to you.


What You'll Do

  • Install underground fuel storage tanks (steel and fiberglass)
  • Install and repair fuel piping, spill buckets, sumps, and fuel system components
  • Install and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including tank gauges (ATGs), fuel dispensers, pumps (STPs), and leak detection systems
  • Read blueprints and job site plans
  • Help with excavation, backfilling, and site cleanup
  • Test fuel systems to make sure everything is working safely
  • Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
  • Work with project managers, customers, and inspectors to complete jobs on schedule
  • Train and help newer team members
  • Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles clean and in good working order
  • Complete daily paperwork and job documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Experience installing underground storage tanks or petroleum equipment preferred
  • Electrical installation and troubleshooting experience required
  • Experience with ATGs, STPs, dispensers, or fuel system controls is a plus
  • Construction, excavation, plumbing, mechanical, or industrial experience is helpful
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • CDL is a plus, but not required
  • OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, PEI, or electrical certifications are a plus
  • Able to lift 75 pounds and work outside in all types of weather
  • Willing to travel overnight when projects require it
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work well with a team
