Job description and primary responsibilities
Assembles mattresses using established work instructions
  • Assembles mattress units per established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns) according to quality standard requirements
  • This includes the assembly of Hot Melt Bond (Bolsa), Bonnells, foam encased and foam product types; application of various, specified upholstered layers to the unit in the correct order based on specifications.
  • Asides finished assembled unit to the next process step.
  • Achieve production expectation according to the training schedule.
  • Inspects mattress components and finished units for acceptable flaws or structural defects
  • Performs all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures and maintains workstation in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Hiring Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour (heavy loads must be team lifted)
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Bilingual Spanish, desired
