Position Overview

TheLead Financial Advisor is a senior, client-facing role for an experienced CFP professional with 10+ years in financial planning and relationship management.


Youll help drive our advisory growth strategy serving as both a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to junior advisors and financial coaches. Youll also contribute to business development, operational improvement, and firm leadership initiatives.


This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, service, and sales who loves helping people, improving processes, and building something lasting.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a book of high-net-worth and mass-affluent client relationships, delivering comprehensive, fiduciary financial advice.
  • Oversee and mentor junior advisors, support advisors, and financial coaches.
  • Partner with the investment management team on asset allocation, rebalancing, and portfolio strategy.
  • Collaborate with operations to enhance workflows and improve the client experience.
  • Lead or participate in business development initiatives, including networking, client acquisition, and referral cultivation.
  • Contribute to firmwide process improvement, innovation, and technology adoption.
  • Model leadership in client service, compliance, and company culture.
  • Support and occasionally present at educational events, webinars, or client workshops.


What Were Looking For


  • Education: Bachelors degree required (Finance, Business, or related field preferred).
  • Certification: CFP designation required.
  • Experience: 10+ years of comprehensive financial planning and client-relationship experience.
  • Skills:

Compensation & Benefits


Base Salary: $85,000 $150,000, depending on experience, client base, and leadership capacity.

  • Advisors on the higher end of the range typically bring strong business-development experience, an existing client base, and/or proven leadership results.


Additional Compensation:

  • Performance Compensation: $10,000 $60,000+, tied to individual production, client growth, and firm contribution.
  • Company Bonus: $5,000 $25,000+, based on firm performance and profitability.
  • Enhanced Compensation: Advisors bringing an existing book of clients are eligible for additional transition bonuses and phantom-stock participation, leading to future equity opportunities.
