Job description

We're seeking for an Cyber Security Analyst for our direct client. Please review the below job Description and revert with your interest for the same.

Job details:

Role: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite Monday through Friday, day shift hours)

Long term contract

Job Summary

Cyber Security Analyst will be part of Security Incident Response Team (SIRT). SIRT is specialized cybersecurity groups or professionals within an organization responsible for detecting, managing, and neutralizing security breaches, malware outbreaks, and active cyber attacks

Skills

  1. Detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real time.
  2. Analyze logs and network traffic to identify threats and anomalies.
  3. Contain, eradicate, and recover from security breaches.
  4. Document incidents thoroughly and contribute to post-incident reviews.
  5. Develop and refine incident response plans and playbooks.
  6. SOAR automation experience.
  7. Python or Yara L scripting knowledge.
  8. Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments.
  9. Must be familiar with SIEM tools and how to use them for investigations and response.
  10. Must know the difference between a SPAM and Phishing email and ability to investigate appropriately.
  11. Knowledge in endpoint detection, and threat intelligence platforms.
  12. Knowledge of malware analysis, phishing tactics, vulnerability exploitation, and MITRE.
  13. Understanding and experience in the implementation NIST SP800-61.
  14. Prior experience in system administration, digital fraud, or digital forensics is a big plus.
