Lecturer to teach SFHP courses for the Department of Human Sciences AU26
Primary Duties:

• Serve as instructor of record for assigned section(s) which meet twice per week for 55 minutes each. The focus of this course is to teach fundamental basketball skills to beginners. The curriculum includes dribbling, passing, shooting, defensive and offensive strategies, as well as gradual conditioning for full court play.
• Create and update course syllabus
• Create, maintain and modify course content in Canvas (as necessary)
• Provide timely feedback and grades on student assignments and skill testing
• Hold weekly office hours
• Communicate with and support students, being alert to those who may be falling behind
• Attend all scheduled class meetings throughout the semester
• Attend program meetings and trainings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in physical education.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience teaching and/or coaching basketball

Preferred:
Exercise Science or Sport Management experience and education.
