Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW 

 Premium Guard, Inc. is a privately held company, established in 1996. We are a leading supplier of private label solutions in the automotive aftermarket. Our focus is on designing, manufacturing and distributing products for automotive, diesel, power-sports and specialty filter markets. Our supply chain network encompasses now branches across the Pacific and into South America. 

 The Order Puller is responsible for filling customer orders using a pick list and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards. 

  PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Works under the close supervision of supervisor and team leader. 
  • Receives daily work instructions and work assignments from team leaders. 
  • Utilizes the pick ticket process to obtain product from location and ensures completeness and correctness of all orders filled.  
  • Operates handling equipment to properly stage completed orders. 
  • Packs warehouse orders as necessary 
  • Must meet daily productivity and quality standards set for order process roles  
  • Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES 

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). 
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred and basic computer skills. 
  • Good communication including basic reading and math skills.  
  • Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions. 
  • Must be able to move, lift and transport products up to 50lbs in a non- climate-controlled warehouse.
  • Standing, lifting, bending and moving heavy packages for extended periods of time up to 10-hour shifts. 

Additional job details:                 

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday: 7AM to 3:30PM is DAY SHIFT 4PM to 12:30AM is EVENING SHIFT.  Overtime possible.
  • Pay Rate:$17.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential for evening shift
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision effective first of the month after date of hire
  • 401k: eligible after 6 months
  • Personal Time Off (PTO) Bank: Eligible to accrue up to128 hours annually
