POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Supply Chain Manager to own our end-to-end supply chain operations. In this role, you will design and execute logistics, procurement, and inventory strategies that maximize profitability and ensure on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can seamlessly bridge the gaps between vendors, production, finance, and customer demand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strategy & Optimization: Create and implement global supply chain strategies to scale operations, lower landed costs, and improve delivery speeds.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Identify, vet, and negotiate contracts with international suppliers, contract manufacturers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Demand & Inventory Planning: Analyze historical data to forecast demand at the SKU level, maintaining optimal inventory health while preventing stockouts or capital lockup.
  • Logistics & Freight Strategy: Oversee inbound and outbound freight networks (ocean, air, and last-mile) while managing custom clearance and compliance.
  • Performance Tracking: Build data dashboards and regularly report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like lead times, supplier SLA fulfillment, and inventory turnover.
  • Risk Mitigation: Actively monitor the logistics network to anticipate, isolate, and quickly resolve bottlenecks or shipping delays.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, product management, Estimating and Project Management and sales teams.
  • Negotiation: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a track record of driving down costs through supplier agreements.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong mathematical and data-driven approach to tracking operational efficiency and solving logistics problems.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Maintain ongoing vendor scorecards, track delivery/quality metrics, and conduct routine performance reviews to hold suppliers accountable.
  • Supply Chain Risk Mitigation: Anticipate market volatility, identify single-source vulnerabilities, and establish dual-sourcing or localized contingency plans to prevent operational disruptions.
  • Logistics & Fulfillment Oversight: Coordinate inbound shipping, material handling, and outbound distribution performance alongside our warehousing or third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
  • Demand & Inventory Alignment Oversee inventory control, demand planning, stock replenishment, and warehouse operations to minimize stockouts and carrying cost
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Some college credits required but Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related fields.
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven experience managing Supply chain or procurement teams, with an emphasis on experience within the construction industry.
  • Technical Literacy: Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Epicor) data analytics software, and advanced Excel.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
  • Travel will be minimal but may be up to 10%
