Job description

Surgery Scheduler/Receptionist

Come join our team! Our Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking for an experienced Surgery Scheduler/Receptionist. Hours are Full-Time, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.

Applicant must have proficient computer skills and experience in the following areas: surgical scheduling, patient registration, chart preparation, filing, and collection of co-pays. A positive attitude, strong communication, detailed-oriented, and great people skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize, are essential to this job. This position includes data entry with accuracy and timeliness. The scheduler needs to have outstanding organization skills, strong medical terminology, and knowledge of ICD-10/CPT codes.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Excellent people and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience in an outpatient surgery center preferred.
  • Experience in front office/billing preferred.
