  • Develop and deliver financial literacy resources and educational programming that support informed financial decision-making.
  • Provide financial counseling and payment guidance to students and families while supporting student retention and persistence initiatives.
  • Oversee cashiering operations, collection processes, third-party billing, and relationships with external payment and collection vendors.
  • Serve as the functional administrator for the University’s student accounts system (PowerCampus Student Accounts).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures that promote financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Financial Aid, Enrollment Management, Student Success, Residential Life, the Registrar, Information Services, and other campus departments to provide exceptional service to students and families.
  • Administer IRS Form 1098-T reporting and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations, year-end close activities, and annual audit preparation.
  • Supervise Student Accounts staff, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and outstanding customer service.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Process improvement, workflow automation, and operational efficiency initiatives and reporting.
  • Supervisory experience and staff development.

Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Completed applications will include:
