The Site Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting the site Electrical Power Distribution (EPD) group, manages the power coordination of the site's electrical power distribution system, serves as the site's Electrical Safety Professional (ESP), and is a resource to all site personnel for electrical engineering related issues and questions.
The key tasks for the Site Electrical Engineer include:
  • Responsible for the management of the coordination of the relays, breakers, and fuses providing overcurrent and short circuit protection for the site electrical distribution system.
  • Maintain the SKM computer system model of the site electrical distribution system.
  • Calculate and provide labelling for the short circuit and arc flash values for the electrical distribution system.
  • Provided technical support and guidance to the Electrical Power Distribution (EPD) maintenance group.
  • Lead the site's electrical safety program as the site Electrical Safety Professional (ESP)
  • Organize and execute the site's electrical safety audit program.
  • Serve as the primary approver for the site's electrical design adequacy reviews of new electrical designs
  • Serve on the Site and Corporate Electrical Safety Teams
  • Manage the site's 5-year Electrical System Infrastructure plan
  • Lead and complete the 5-year Site Electrical Hazards Analysis.
  • Calculate and provide month-end accounting analysis of the site's electricity usage.
  • Provide technical support for all site electrical incidents.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for site electrical power system infrastructure upgrades and improvements.

Requirements:
  • BS Electrical Engineering, 3 years experience
