Job description

Responsibilities
  • Provide plant support and handle VPCRs raised by Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, and Marketing teams for global customer projects and engine programs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and actively participate in weekly meetings for assigned product development projects.
  • Meet project targets related to cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Make decisions in the areas of verification and validation that impact product performance, reliability, and durability.
  • Investigate and address potential system concerns or issues, understand causal mechanisms, and recommend appropriate action.
  • Engage in short‑term and long‑term problem solving for any engine or product issues.
  • Work with suppliers for the PPAP and source release of new or modified designs.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in a new mechanical product design environment and industrial experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with the following tools: Creo, Data Analysis, Minitab, DFMEA, DVA, GD&T, ALD.
  • Additional skills: Six Sigma tools, cross‑functional integration, problem solving, decision making.
