Job description

The Digital Sector is seeking aCybersecurity Training Coordinatorto support the DISA GSM-O II TN22 Boundary and Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Services Program. GSM-O II delivers network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the Department of Defense (DoD), and Combatant Commands.

The Cybersecurity Training Coordinator supports the planning, scheduling, administration, and documentation of training and workforce-readiness activities for the TN22 program. The position works under the direction of the Cybersecurity Training Manager and Lead Cybersecurity Trainer to help ensure personnel complete required training, maintain qualification records, and receive timely support for mission-specific development needs.

The successful candidate will coordinate with trainers, site coordinators, technical leads, supervisors, and Government stakeholders to maintain training schedules and records; track completion and qualification status; support training events; and provide accurate data for readiness reporting.

This position can work out of any of our DISA facilities, include: Ogden UT, O'Fallon IL, Columbus OH, Ft Meade MD, or Chambersburg PA

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and administrative support for cybersecurity training events, classes, exercises, and readiness activities.
  • Maintain training calendars, attendee rosters, course materials, virtual-training links, facilities coordination, and equipment requirements.
  • Track training completion, qualification status, individual development plans, continuing professional development, and mission-specific training requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance rosters, assessment results, certificates, and supporting documentation in accordance with program requirements.
  • Support data collection and validation for workforce-readiness metrics, dashboards, and recurring reports.
  • Identify overdue, incomplete, or expiring training requirements and coordinate with personnel and supervisors to support timely resolution.
  • Assist with the development, revision, formatting, distribution, and version control of training materials, lesson plans, student guides, and job aids.
  • Coordinate with trainers and technical leads to ensure training materials, schedules, and learner requirements are current and accessible.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for collective training events, technical exercises, tabletop exercises, and other readiness-validation activities.
  • Collect participant feedback and assist with documenting lessons learned, training issues, and recommended improvements.
  • Support onboarding activities by coordinating required training, distributing orientation materials, and tracking initial qualification requirements.
  • Respond to routine training-related inquiries and escalate complex issues, risks, or policy questions to the Lead Trainer or Cybersecurity Training Manager.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with geographically dispersed program personnel and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance; must be able to maintain clearance eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, with4+ years of relevant experience. Additional professional experience or military service may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience coordinating training, scheduling, personnel development, operations support, or administrative activities in a professional environment.
  • Experience maintaining records, tracking task completion, managing schedules, or supporting reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with Government, contractor, technical, and operational personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, DISA, network operations, cyber defense, or Cyber Security Service Provider environments.
  • Familiarity with DoD 8140, DoD Cyber Workforce Framework work roles, or cybersecurity training and qualification processes.
  • Experience using a learning-management system, training-record system, workforce-tracking tool, or SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting training events, exercises, onboarding, or workforce-readiness reporting.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity terminology, cyber operations, or information technology concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
