Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Project Manager - Security in Hilliard, OH. The Security Systems Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of assigned security projects, ensuring all contracted work is developed and installed in accordance with company safety, quality, and financial performance standards. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated leader with a strong background in telecommunications and construction, capable of managing profitability and fostering exceptional customer relationships.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $110,000 to $130,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress for security systems projects.
  • Plan for, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve company financial goals.
  • Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including the preparation of invoices and financial reporting.
  • Act as the primary company liaison for interfacing with customer representatives and stakeholders.
  • Participate in or facilitate the bid process, defining project scopes and developing detailed task lists.
  • Ensure all quality and safety protocols are strictly followed on customer work sites.
  • Create and implement account process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Manage project materials and staffing to ensure delivery goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Direct projects through final completion and formal customer turnover, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  • Conduct regular financial reporting to management regarding project status and collections.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in project management or a related construction field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical field.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalency required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • High level of proficiency interpreting blueprints, specifications, and other technical project documents.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Proven ability to define project scopes and manage complex tasks to final completion.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to give oral presentations.
  • Willingness to travel within the branch or regional territory as needed.
  • Must meet company minimum driving standards and maintain a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to use common trade tools such as punch tools, crimp tools, volt-ohmmeters, and continuity testers.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites and regional territories.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands to operate computers and project management systems.
  • Must be able to secure and maintain a company-sponsored travel card.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
