About the Role:
Newark Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Director to join our team in Newark, OH, USA. As a leading provider of rehabilitation services, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and fostering a positive, supportive environment for our staff. As a Registered Nurse Director, you will play a key role in leading our nursing team, developing and implementing patient care plans, and ensuring that our facilities and programs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive, individualized care that meets their unique needs
Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, including developing and reviewing assessments, goals, and interventions
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, Joint Commission, and state and federal laws and regulations
Participate in quality improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care
Collaborate with other departments, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among staff members
Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field
