We are seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who enjoys working closely with clients and providing trusted accounting and tax guidance. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will manage accounting and tax engagements for a diverse client base while delivering accurate financial solutions and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other business entities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and related financial reports.
- Perform general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Conduct tax research and respond to tax notices from government agencies.
- Provide clients with tax planning, financial guidance, and practical solutions to help them navigate changing tax laws and financial regulations.
- Communicate complex financial and tax information in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships by providing excellent client service.
- Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to provide clients with up-to-date advice.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation.
- Credentials: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Tax & Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations, with experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns.
- Tax Research: Ability to conduct tax research, interpret tax laws, and respond to tax notices from government agencies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard office applications.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and effectively to clients.
- Organization & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Client Service: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while providing professional accounting and tax guidance.
