What You’ll Do:


As a Nursing Supervisor, you’ll play a meaningful role in ensureing implementation and maintenance of current best practices in the nursing department, resulting in optimum medical and psychiatric services for individuals served within the Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF’s) and Multi System Youth settings. This role leads the integration of trauma-informed, person-centered nursing care aligned with the requirements of all applicable regulatory bodies. The Nursing Supervisor oversees the functioning of nurses assigned to the ICF’s/MSY in their assigned region while ensuring continuity and coordination of care across other internal services and with outside stakeholders. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the nursing team, ensuring individuals receive high-quality, safe, and developmentally appropriate care. This individual collaborates closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of philosophy, policies, procedures, and strategic goals of I Am Boundless.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with IDD or and complex behavioral health conditions
  • Proficient in documentation systems and excellent computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing tools, and the ability to learn new programs expeditiously.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement and person-centered care.

Licensure/Certification:

  • RN License in the state of Ohio
  • BLS certification and successful completion of a behavioral health de-escalation program (both may be provided by Boundless).
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License with 5 points or less./Proof of Insurance
  • Infection Control Certification (or receipt of certificate within two years of hire)
  • Successful completion of RN Train the Trainer within 1 year of hire.
