This hybrid role is based locally in Dublin, OH and focuses on developing qualified opportunities within the chemical industry. The successful candidate will conduct high-volume outbound outreach, support marketing and business development initiatives, and maintain a strong pipeline within the CRM system. This position requires a solid understanding of commodity chemicals and NASi products, along with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and prospective customers.A Sample of What You’ll Do in This Role:Increase the number of cold calls made against the sales pipeline and develop relationships that convert into sales opportunitiesFollow up on literature and sample requests to generate and qualify new business opportunitiesConduct a high volume of outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling and lead follow-upBuild and maintain knowledge of commodity chemicals and manufactured NASi products to effectively support prospecting effortsMaintain strong internal and external relationships across multiple industrial divisions within NASiPerform targeted market research to identify and develop new prospects within chemical industry segments where NASi products provide valueDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of NASi’s position within the chemical industry to effectively communicate product value and qualify prospectsPartner with Business Development to own and maintain the sales pipeline, ensuring it remains current and supports new customer growthAssist marketing with identifying and adding customers to the sales pipelineIdentify trade shows and other opportunities to cultivate new prospects and schedule meetings with potential customersServe as a key contributor in planning, supporting, and operating trade show booths and related activitiesTrack prospecting activities, lead status, and opportunity progression within the company’s CRM system to ensure consistent advancement of opportunitiesSupport lead generation initiatives through participation in key industry trade shows and eventsTravel occasionally to support industry events, divisional meetings, and other business-related activitiesWhat You Bring to the Role :5+ years of experience in chemical sales or a related fieldDemonstrated success in cold calling and prospecting within the chemical industryWorking knowledge of the chemical industryExperience conducting high-volume outbound prospecting and lead qualification activitiesKnowledge of commodity chemicals and the ability to learn and communicate the value of manufactured NASi productsExperience performing market research and identifying new business opportunitiesAbility to manage and maintain sales pipelines and support business development activitiesBasic experience working within a CRM system to add, track, and manage opportunities for the sales teamStrong relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholdersBachelor’s degree in Chemistry , Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related fieldYour Digital & Technology Capabilities :Experience using CRM platforms and digital sales tools to manage pipelines, track prospect activity, and support data-driven decision makingComfort leveraging Microsoft 365 tools, collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, and AI-enabled tools such as Copilot to improve productivity, research, and customer outreachAbility to analyze prospecting and pipeline data, utilize market intelligence resources, and adopt new technologies that enhance lead generation and business development effortsWhat Makes You a Great Fit :You are highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyYou have strong communication skills that enable you to build remote relationships with customers and internal stakeholdersYou enjoy collaborating as part of a team and understand the importance of smoothly transitioning qualified opportunities to external sales representativesYou're an energetic people person driven by personal and professional growth, confident in initiating conversations and overcoming objectionsYou can embrace rejection as part of the sales process while maintaining a positive and persistent approachYou bring the ability to identify , engage, and qualify prospective customers through targeted outreach strategiesYou enjoy utilizing social media and digital resources to uncover key contacts and decision-makers within target organizationsYou have the discipline to maintain accurate records and ensure opportunities progress through the sales process effectivelyCompensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $84,000 - $112,010.
