Mechanical Design Engineer (2 positions)
Advance CNC Machining - Grove City, Ohio
Salary: $85,000 DOE
We are seeking a highly competent Mechanical Design Engineer who's enjoyable to work with, and that can thoughtfully bring the efficiency, ownership, and integrity needed to help our growing $20 million company keep up with rapidly rising demand.
At Advance CNC Machining, we specialize in producing high precision machined parts for customers from coast to coast including equipment manufacturers, food, drug and the aerospace and defense industries. What You'll Do
As Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll provide accurate designs and analysis - while modeling the accountability, resourcefulness, and humility that define our culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Analysis of sample parts and machinery
  • Interpretation of technical design information
  • Design of parts and mechanical assemblies as per customer requirements
  • Creation of CAD models, engineering drawings, and inspection plans for manufacturing
  • Collaboration with customers, vendors, and other team members

Compensation package includes:
  • 401k plan with a generous 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year
  • 80 hours of paid time off (PTO) your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours.

What You'll Bring

The skills needed:
  • Advanced Knowledge of mechanical engineering gained from a bachelor's degree or other education and experience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and excel at problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge from relevant experience, such as manufacturing, inspection, machine design, controls systems, and project management
