Registered Nurse Director
About the Role:
Newark Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Director to join our team in Newark, OH, USA. As a leading provider of rehabilitation services, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and fostering a positive, supportive environment for our staff. As a Registered Nurse Director, you will play a key role in leading our nursing team, developing and implementing patient care plans, and ensuring that our facilities and programs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive, individualized care that meets their unique needs
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, including developing and reviewing assessments, goals, and interventions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, Joint Commission, and state and federal laws and regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care
  • Collaborate with other departments, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development among staff members
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
