Job description

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain operations for our production facility in Circleville, OH, managing a $25MM inventory portfolio while achieving a 96% service level target. You will drive supply chain excellence by integrating Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), demand-supply balancing, procurement, and production planning into a cohesive, high-performing operation.
This is an on-site role in Circleville, OH and will report to the Supply Chain Director. PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.
Responsibilities:
  • Own and execute the end-to-end supply plan, including Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), to balance volume, cost, and service levels against a $25MM inventory target
  • Drive inventory health metrics, identifying and mitigating at-risk inventory, reducing excess and obsolete stock, and improving inventory turns
  • Establish and continuously optimize safety stock levels and replenishment parameters across a multi-echelon supply chain using statistical modeling and demand variability analysis
  • Analyze and govern stock vs. make-to-order strategies to align inventory investment with customer service requirements
  • Lead initiatives to improve working capital efficiency while sustaining the 96% service level commitment
  • Serve as a key contributor and lead in the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process, providing data-driven insights, KPIs, and scenario modeling to improve forecast accuracy and supply responsiveness
  • Lead S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) supply analysis cycles, identifying short-term supply risks and developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Owner of Supply Plan and Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP), partnering with regional supply chain director to balance level of activity, cost and service.
  • Manage relationships with PPG suppliers and external contract manufacturers (tollers), partnering with Corporate Procurement on strategic sourcing, and vendor performance management
  • Coordinate the operations planning function across manufacturing facilities, including production scheduling, capacity utilization, and material availability to support growth plans
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to align production schedules with service, quality, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Resolve capacity constraints and supply bottlenecks through collaboration and scenario planning
  • Be the supply chain liaison across Sales, Technical, Operations, Customer Service, and Demand Planning teams to drive operational excellence and alignment
  • Communicate supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities across all organizational levels, from shop floor to executive leadership
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to streamline supply chain processes
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations and policies.

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain experience in a batch manufacturing facility
  • Leadership experience managing dynamic supply chains.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement frameworks
  • Oracle &/or SAP ERP platform experience (planning modules preferred)
  • Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups) and Power BI and supply chain modeling tools
