Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic cardiovascular team in Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in our state-of-the-art cath lab. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, and other interventional procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac status throughout the procedure, responding quickly to any changes or emergencies.
  • Assist the cardiologists and interventional specialists with the preparation and performance of procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and support, providing pre-procedure education and post-procedure care instructions.
  • Administer medications, including sedation and analgesia, as ordered, and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Maintain sterile technique during all procedures and ensure proper handling of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, radiologists, and other nursing staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
