Job description

W2 Account Intermodal Acct Drivers

Drivers on this local job will operate in a 250-mile radius of Toledo, OH. Pay details include $38 per drop/hook with an average of 15-20 drops per week, $51 live load/unload, $25 per hazmat load on top of load pay, and $20 per hour rail delay after 1 hour, mechanical breakdown immediately, waiting on truck immediately.

Additional details include a shift from Thursday to Monday, a start time of 1400, and drivers could work a 12-hour day with the fleet average being 10 hours. Drivers are running rail freight to and from the rail yards in Toledo (NS) and North Baltimore, OH (BNSF/CSX) to customers within a 250-mile radius. Operating area is mainly in/out of the Toledo NS Railyard and/or the North Baltimore, OH BNSF/CSX, but could include loads into the Cleveland Market, Columbus Market or the Cincinnati Market, this includes the Cleveland NS and CSX rail yards, the Lockbourne, OH NS and the Cincinnati NS. There is also freight that goes into Michigan and some loads into Canada. Will be hauling general commodities over a variety of customers including food grade items. 40-50% of freight is either pork or pork derivatives. There is the potential to haul alcohol, but it is minimal. This is a 24/7 account. No touch freight. Hazmat required within 90 days after being hired. Cost of Hazmat reimbursed after it’s on their license. Drivers average $1500-$1600+ weekly.

Requirements include 3 months class A experience with a 53 foot trailer, clean mvr, clean background, no SAP drivers, and must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test.
