Key Responsibilities:
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will...
  • Manage and grow key accounts by building strong, multi-level relationships across complex customer organizations and delivering consistent value
  • Drive sales performance through proactive outreach, opportunity identification, strategic campaigns, and effective navigation of long sales cycles
  • Protect and expand profitability by monitoring pricing and margins and partnering with product leadership to take timely action
  • Leverage market insights to identify new applications, customers, and trends while contributing to competitive intelligence and strategic planning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, R&D, technical service) to enhance customer experience, solve challenges, and support product innovation

  • Industry experience in chemicals or adhesives with a strong foundation in territory/account management (5+ years preferred)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to adapt messaging across audiences and influence decision-makers
  • Analytical and proactive mindset with the ability to interpret data, solve problems, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, results-driven professional proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and committed to teamwork, innovation, and customer success
  • Ability to travel domestically within North America (40-60% overnight) for customer visits, trade shows, and business development activities
