We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Columbus location (hybrid). At FCX Performance/a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies the Accounts Payable role has an immediate impact on our customers, on our company performance, and on personal earnings.
Scope of Responsibility:
  • Process invoices and related transactions for resale purchases for multiple locations
  • Process and pay invoices for non-inventory related purchases
  • Verify price and receipt of materials. Work with field locations to resolve exceptions
  • Resolve billing, payment, debit/credit issues
  • Promote and maintain vendor relationships relating to statement reconciliation and payment cycle
  • Process travel and entertainment reports

Requirements:
  • Accounts Payable experience with proven success and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of Excel and strong computer and data entry skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
