Job description

Test Engineer – Infotainment

The team is seeking a Test Engineer with 3–5+ years of testing experience and a strong background in hardware-focused vehicle testing within an automotive environment. This role supports the Infotainment Department and will focus on testing components such as the meter cluster, hud, and head unit (center display).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and schedules to verify design feasibility and ensure components meet performance, acceptance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create test specifications, data settings, and testing standards.
  • Prepare, configure, and maintain test equipment.
  • Conduct complex hardware and vehicle-level testing and document results.
  • Analyze and interpret test data, identify root causes of failures, and recommend countermeasures.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Support test equipment setup and parts requests alongside other team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering preferred (Mechanical Engineering also considered).
  • 5+ years of test engineering experience.
  • Experience with CAN tools and system analysis.
  • Strong understanding of test development, validation, and confirmation activities.
  • Experience with hardware testing; functional testing experience is preferred over pure software testing.
  • Ability to analyze test results and drive corrective actions.

Additional Details:

  • 100% onsite, 5 days per week.
  • Majority of the work is hardware and vehicle-level functional testing with limited software testing.
  • Equivalent experience may substitute for a degree (6 years of related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree).

Ideal Candidate: Someone with automotive infotainment testing experience who is comfortable developing test procedures, working with CAN tools, performing vehicle-level hardware validation, and analyzing results to drive design improvements.
