Job Summary:
Versova is one of the largest egg producers in the United States, dedicated to exceptional flock care and producing safe, high-quality eggs. The Safety Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting safety-related data to support the development of effective safety programs across farm locations.
Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze safety data from various sources, including incident reports, inspections, and audits
• Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets for tracking safety metrics and KPIs
• Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and potential risk factors in safety data
• Create detailed reports and data visualizations to communicate safety performance to management
• Assist in the development of predictive models for identifying potential safety hazards
• Support the evaluation of safety program effectiveness through data analysis
• Collaborate with safety specialists to design data collection methods for safety initiatives
• Analyze the effectiveness of safety training programs using quantitative and qualitative data
• Assist in cost-benefit analyses of safety investments and interventions
• Contribute to the development of safety dashboards and performance tracking tools
• Support compliance reporting by ensuring accurate and timely data compilation
• Assist in benchmarking safety performance against industry standards

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, safety analysis, business intelligence or similar
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with Safety data software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience with Velocity EHS software
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
• Experience in the agricultural or food production industry
• Basic understanding of risk assessment methodologies
• Certification in data analysis or safety-related field
