Client : Retail Industry
Title: Senior Web Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months+ contract
Requirements
  • 5+ or more years of experience with JavaScript and web development - Bindings, scopes, prototype overrides
  • 3+ years of experience with modern web stacks using ReactJS
  • Experience with DevOPs, TDD, and the SOLID principles
  • Worked in an Agile and SCRUM environment
  • Experience working with an engineering team of 5 or more

Typical Duties
  • Follows established architecture patterns and practices used throughout the product software stack
  • Offer suggestions to improve and minimize technical debt
  • Solve critical defects both in production and test/stage environments
  • Works with QA team to support automated functional testing
  • Identify and uphold Fullstack engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with designers & product managers to iterate on the design & implementation of our product
  • Work with Engineers from our consumers to build and ship features
  • Design a framework for creating services that grows with the needs of the company
  • Monitor performance, watch for traffic drops related to usability problems & rectify the issues
  • Review app and feature code, and plan future API upgrades with the development team
  • Assist in the development of applications & features that will be put on the website, mobile app, and external client apps
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
