Job description

We are currently seeking a compassionate Funeral Director to join our esteemed team in Logan, Ohio. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing, directing, and coordinating all aspects of funeral services to ensure the utmost satisfaction of every family we serve.

Responsibilities:

  •     Manage arrangements, services, embalmings, casketing/cosmetizing, and removals as necessary
  •     Coordinate arrangements with families and other stakeholders to provide compassionate funeral, cremation, and cemetery services
  •     Assist families in selecting products and services, and finalizing financial arrangements
  •     Prepare and oversee visitations, funerals, and memorial services
  •     Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures and complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly
  •     Maintain licensure and certifications to meet regulatory requirements
  •     Assist in preparing and transferring cremated remains according to industry standards
  •     Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  •     Active Funeral Director license in the state of Ohio or ability to reciprocate
  •     Minimum 2+ year of funeral directing experience
  •     Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  •     Ability to adhere to the professional dress code of the funeral home
  •     Availability for on-call work as needed
