Job description

Title: Software Tester – .NET Applications

Location: Columbus, OH

Interview: Only in person

We are looking for an experienced Software Tester / QA Tester to support testing of .NET and cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases and testing documentation.
  • Perform system, functional, regression, integration and UAT testing.
  • Identify, document and troubleshoot software defects.
  • Work with developers, business users and technical teams.
  • Use Azure DevOps for test management, documentation and collaboration.
  • Support Agile/SDLC testing activities.
  • Perform SQL/database testing and assist with performance testing.
  • Support application deployment and post-production issues.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of Software Testing experience.
  • Strong experience testing .NET applications.
  • Experience with cloud-native/Azure applications.
  • Experience creating test strategies, test plans and test cases.
  • Azure DevOps experience.
  • Understanding of Agile, Iterative and Traditional SDLC.
  • SQL/database testing experience preferred.
  • JMeter, C#, JavaScript, HTML, Oracle or SQL Server experience is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidate must agree to fingerprint/background check.
  • Government equipment must not be taken or used outside the United States.
