Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Assignment in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. At Allied Universal, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with location procedures for employees, contractors, deliveries, and/or visitors.
  • Document routine activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or operational concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
