WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to meet the growing demand for Cardiology at Indiana Heart Physicians satellite office located in Columbus, Indiana. An experienced provider is preferred. This interested candidate will join a multi-specialty team of 22 cardiologists, 2 cardiac hospitalists, and 24 advanced practice providers.

Indiana Heart Physicians(IHP) has been deliveringleading cardiovascular care since 1978, offering comprehensive services through boardcertified cardiologists across multidisciplinary clinics, including cardiooncology, heart failure, AFib, cardiogenetics, and structural heart. IHP provides advanced cardiac imaging and participates in research and clinical trials to bring patients the latest innovations in heart care. WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will be an experienced Cardiovascular Advanced Practice Provider, who will operate in an office/hospital setting and be responsible for caring for patient's aged 18 years and older who have cardiovascular conditions. The primary focus of the Advanced Practice Provider is seeing patients in our general cardiac clinic located in Columbus, Indiana. Candidate will also have desire to develop strong ties with patients and the greater Columbus community through outreach and educational opportunities.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Schedule: Four 10-hour weekday shifts (days to be determined - no weekends or holidays) based on outpatient volumes and cardiac testing requirements

• Average outpatient volume: 16 - 18 per day

• Average inpatient volume: 16 - 20 patients per day

• Common Diagnoses:

  • Atrial Fibrillation

  • Hypertension

  • Coronary Artery Disease

  • Heart Failure

  • Dyslipidemia

• Daily Duties:

  • Complete patient health assessments

  • Diagnosis and treat individuals with current or potential cardiac needs

  • Offer lifestyle, medical and dietary suggestions

  • Develop treatment plan for patients

  • Refer patients to cardiologists as appropriate for advanced testing and imaging

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree - Required

• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
