Job description

  • Responsible for technical accounting analysis across the organization
  • Provides guidance on complex transactions, new accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements
  • Researches and documents accounting positions, develops and maintains accounting policies
  • Assesses the impact of emerging US GAAP and SEC guidance
  • Partners cross functionally with FP&A, legal, treasury, regulatory, IT, and other business stakeholders
  • Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly journal entries

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related subject
  • At least six years relevant work experience in accounting and financial reporting
  • Prior record of supervisory experience in an accounting environment
  • Proven ability to successfully lead projects and staff
  • Working knowledge of FASB and SEC reporting requirements
  • Strong technical accounting skills and solid understanding of current generally accepted accounting principles and SEC reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Upon Hire
