Production Laborer

We are expanding and currently looking for the right person to join our team as part of our Service/Assembly Department in the position of Production Laborer

General Responsibilities:

• Basic parts assembly, painting, cleaning, parts organization 
• Assembling hydraulic and industrial hoses utilizing various types of crimping equipment for inside sales team & MPP drill production
• Identifying hydraulic hose types, fitting styles and threads/sealing types
• Maintaining proper hose & fitting inventory levels as directed
• Maintaining a clean and safe hose fabrication department
• General production assistant duties – painting, basic assembly, cleaning, parts organization
• General warehouse duties; order picking and packing, inventory counting etc.
• Assisting logistics team with preparing/packaging outbound orders
• Displaying a positive, team focused, ‘can do’ attitude
• Request/Order parts and components when necessary
• Recording materials to be posted to work orders
• Ensuring time is coded to work orders properly

Work Environment:

• Mostly indoors, Service/Assembly Department
• Eye protection and steel toed boots required on site
• Continuing education programs may be offered on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

• good communication and organizational skills
• valid driver’s license
• forklift experience/ticket is an asset
• able to regularly lift over 20 lbs.

This position is full time Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
