Automotive Transmission Technician

Job Summary

Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited is looking for a skilled Automotive Transmission Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a high level of knowledge of vehicle electronics to diagnose and repair transmission issues. The Automotive Transmission Technician will be an integral part of the automotive service team, offering top-notch customer service and quality workmanship.

Must have at least 3-5 years of automotive experience  working and rebuilding Transmissions 

Compensation & Benefits

The Automotive Transmission Technician position offers a competitive compensation package of $65,000 to over $100,000  per year ( to be discussed upon interview) paid biweekly. In addition, this position also offers comprehensive health and dental benefits.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, adjust, and repair transmissions in a variety of vehicles
• Repair or replace transmission components
• Carefully follow all safety procedures when operating any equipment or machinery
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of repairs
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Provide top-notch customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

Hold a valid 310S or equivalent 
• ASE certification is preferred
•3-5  years of automotive experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to diagnose and repair transmission issues
• Superior diagnostic and repair skills
• Expertise in automotive electronics
