We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of T1 ( Personal Taxes)
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Perform bookkeeping for various clients including payroll processing, GST/HST filing etc.
- Support assurance related assignment such as audits and reviews, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Previous experience of preparing T1, T2 and related schedules
- Knowledge of QBO, Sage, Profile software is an advantage
- Operational experience of MS-Office
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
