Job Description:  Onsite Machining Technician

Assisting Onsite Machining Activities, As directed by Machining Lead/Supervisor. 

The role requires the holder to assist Onsite Machining Activities including but not limited to; Pipe Cutting, Pipe Bevell, Flange refacing for RTJ / RF and flat faces, Milling of pump plates as specified in the company procedures for each operation undertaken. They ideal candidate will have proven Machining experience either onsite or in machining workshop. Training will be provided to suitable candidate. Pre employment Drugs and Alcohol.

 Knowledge, Training, and Experience required:

• Minimum of 3 years previous/similar experience preferred.
• Computer literate for updating site paperwork.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
• Time served Toolmaker / Machinist preferred.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Experience of working to deadlines.
• Ability to read Isometric and P & ID Drawings preferred.
• Full Driving License.
• Excellent knowledge of all equipment used during above processes.
• Physically fit and able to lift max 40lbs.
• Previous Oil and Gas experience preferred.

• Negative Pre-Employment Drugs and Alcohol Test.

Shift Schedule.

Local candidates to Kitimat and Terrace 6 days 10-hour shifts.

Fly in Fly Out- 14/7 -10 hours a day.

Wage Range- $42-$46 Per hour
