Mandatory Requirements:

  • Adherence to client safety protocols and familiarity with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

  • Valid DZ or AZ license.

  • Minimum 3 years of intensive general labour experience

  • Physical fitness for success in the position.

  • Flexibility to work Saturdays when required.

What You’ll Do: As a DZ Driver/Loader with our client, your responsibilities include various waste stream residential collections, such as Yard Waste, Blue Box, Green Bin, and Residential garbage collection. Your work is crucial to the health and well-being of the community, ensuring the proper disposal of waste streams. You'll collect and deliver these waste streams efficiently and responsibly, following schedules and all relevant policies and procedures. Safety is paramount, and you'll be expected to interact politely and respectfully with colleagues, management, residents, and the public.

Your duties also involve handling waste receptacles, which may weigh up to 50 lbs., and ensuring they are placed back on the resident's property. You will make over 800 residential stops per day, keeping you active and engaged.
