Our Federal Government client is looking for a Intermediate Nuclear Specialist - Level 2 in Ottawa, ON (National Capital Region). The following qualifications are required:
Job Description:
The Department of National Defence (DND) is seeking an Intermediate Nuclear Specialist to provide technical expertise in nuclear safety. Responsibilities include supporting various nuclear safety initiatives, conducting assessments, analyzing data, and assisting in the development of safety protocols. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the maintenance of a safe nuclear environment.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
The Intermediate Nuclear Specialist - Level 2 must have the following skills and experience:
- Language(s): English
- Security Clearance: Valid Enhanced Reliability
- The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
- Applied Science
- Engineering
- Physics
- Health Physics
- Or a related field.
- The applicant must have a minimum of (10) ten years’ work experience in the last (15) fifteen years as an engineer or scientist in a radiation nuclear or other related field.
