Job Description:

As a tax professional, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research on various tax-related issues and analyzing their potential implications.
- Assisting in the research and preparation of tax-planning strategies for clients, and reviewing complex tax returns. - Collecting and analyzing relevant financial and tax data.
- Actively engaging in tax compliance, planning, and strategy development by analyzing client tax issues, relevant tax laws, provisions, and jurisprudence.
- Developing and applying knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and other tax-related legislations.
- Collaborating with engagement teams to plan timelines, risk assessments, and other documents.
- Identifying issues and errors, investigating discrepancies, and assisting in the preparation of election forms.
- Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities.
- Performing any other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience: To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Completed or be pursuing your Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) designation.
- Enrollment in the CPA in-depth tax program or MTAX.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a senior role.
- Enthusiasm for the profession and a willingness to learn.
- Strong computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and oral communication.
- Customer service and/or client service experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of other languages is an asset. P
