We are seeking an Inside Sales / Design Consultant to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist homeowners/builders/designers/fabricators in selecting Natural stone and Quartz Slab Materials (countertops) for their projects
- Connect with customers by asking open-ended questions to assess customer's needs to make relevant merchandise/design suggestions
- Maintain appearance and organization of products in showroom
- Complete quotes, sales transactions, and processing of payments in a timely manner
- Stay current on all product knowledge to better communicate features and benefits to help build customer knowledge and confidence in our products
- Practice customer focus, collaboration, and communication with team members
- Perform additional duties as required or requested
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated with an ambition to succeed
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Skilled at making quality decisions and following written and verbal instructions to meet deadlines on tasks and projects
- Excellent people skills with a strong desire to provide the highest level of customer service
- General computer skills required
- Ability to learn quickly
- Positive, energetic team player
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design is Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years customer service and/or related industry sales experience
- Previous experience in tile, plumbing, stone, and design are preferred
- Awareness and interest of the design industry
- Experience in showroom environment preferred
