Social Media Intern

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital media, possesses excellent communication skills, and is eager to contribute fresh ideas to client’s social media strategy. (Note: This is a part-time paid internship).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and maintaining our company's social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

• Create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including posts, graphics, videos, and stories

• Monitor social media channels for trending topics, discussions, and relevant industry news

• Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns and promotions

• Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights to optimize content and strategy

• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our client’s online presence

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences

• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Basic knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.) is a plus

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
