Boat Fit Out Technician – Zim Sailing
About the Role
Zim Sailing is looking for a Boat Fit Out Technician to join our growing operations team. This hands-on position is all about getting our small sailboats ready for customers – from rigging and outfitting to final assembly and quality checks. You’ll work closely with our logistics and fulfillment teams, physically assembling and preparing boats, and ensuring every detail meets our high standards.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a physical, team-oriented environment, and can help keep our production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Perform final rigging and outfitting of hulls and masts
Assemble boat components and fittings according to specifications
Assist in preparing boat kits for shipment
Conduct final quality control inspections before delivery
Load and unload containers and boat shipments
Maintain organization and workflow in the rigging area
Follow standard operating procedures
